TOMRA is expanding its business in China, and the marketing department is expected to strengthen the TOMRA Food brand and increase TOMRA’s brand awareness in China, resulting in increase in lead generation and reaching all possible marketing and communication channels.
The marketing coordinator will be responsible to plan and organize exhibitions, customer events, and to implement sales tools for the Chinese market, for example, sales presentations, brochures, videos, etc.. Next to that also support the sales teams and the marketing manager in communication in China, for example, social media, press release, etc.
Role and Responsibilities:
-Play a driving role in planning and organization of exhibitions and events in China, including coordination between internal and external stakeholders locally and globally, vendor management, logistics arrangement, etc.
-Create and localize marketing tools （including presentations, brochures, webpages, etc.）.
-Maintain TOMRA’s Chinese website, and support with SEM projects.
-Maintain stock and distribution of customer gifts and giveaways.
-Support in creation of communication content, such as WeChat posting, press release, videos, etc.
-Support internal communication activities, such as office branding, employee branding, etc.
-Offer creative ideas on improving TOMRA China’s existing marketing activities.
-Bachelor’s degree or higher in marketing, communication, or English literature is preferred.
-At least 2-5 years marketing experience. Experience in organization of exhibition participation is a must. Experience in social media and/or website is a plus.
-Fluent in English （speaking and writing）, and high-level of writing skill both in English and Chinese.
-Versatile marketing and communications person, with ability to handle stress and multiple tasks.
-Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
-Resourceful, pro-active and detail oriented.
-Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software （esp. PowerPoint）.
-Basic knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
-Ability and willingness to travel on occasion.
