In close collaboration with the Marketing Team in Europe and with the Product Management Team, and time to time with other departments such as Sales, Service, and HR, the marketing manager in China is responsible to increase TOMRA’s brand awareness and strengthen external communication in waste recycling and metal recycling sectors in China, leveraging relevant marketing and communication channels.
In this position, the focused market is China, but the role is also expected to support Marcom activities in neighboring Asian countries （such as South Korea, Japan, India and Southeast Asia）.
With 2 reporting lines, this person will ensure communication alignment with TOMRA Recycling headquarters in Germany, and also reflect the specific needs of local market by adapting or creating local content and/or campaigns.
Role and Responsibilities:
-Create local content （e.g. written and video case studies and press releases） on regular basis.
-Ensure high-quality implementation and evaluation of all online and offline promotional activities, including customer events and exhibitions, PR, social media, webinar, etc., and actively follow global and local marketing trend to identify new and effective communications channels and way-of-working.
-Localize and adapt marketing tools （including presentations, brochures/leaflets, webpages, etc.）, and play a driving role to develop local tools when needed, in order to deliver TOMRA’s solution and value in a tailored way to the Chinese customers.
-Ensure the TOMRA Corporate Identity throughout all marketing communications in collaboration with global marketing team and local sales and product management
-Be responsible for China local marketing budget and planning.
-Maintain and update Chinese website on regular basis, and carry out search engine optimization effort with the support of external consultant, and ensure alignment with global website in look-and-feel.
-Support global team in new product launches and global campaigns, and drive local implementation of such events
-Be responsible for gift and give-away sourcing for China and Asia, and maintain inventory of marketing materials, such as brochures, roll-ups, gifts and give-aways.
-Coordinate and collaborate with Circular Economy team and TOMRA Collection Solutions team to maximize synergy and ensure harmonized messaging （one voice） in the local market.
-5+ years‘ experience in marketing in B2B industry, preferably with experience of multinational companies.
-Versatile marcom person, with ability to handle stress and multiple tasks, with proven record in PR and social media execution Proactive, team oriented, flexible, and efficient
